Top Ten 5A teams as voted on by the Alabama Sports Writers Assoc. There are some big match-ups this week so look for a whole new top ten next week.

Hosts no. 7 Hartselle(3-0)

4. Central-Tuscaloosa
Takes on no. 5 Wenonah on Saturday
5. Wenonah
Either team has a chance to move way up with a win.
6. Vigor
7. Hartselle
8. Eufala
Takes on Beauregard(2-1) after falling from no. 1 after upset by Tallasee last week.
9. Briarwood
Hosting Moody(2-1) as they make a run to get back to the top.
10. Shelby Co.
Just breaking into the top ten. Upset Brairwood two weeks ago. Taking on Sylacauga.
Note: Spanish Fort jumped into 14th with 11 votes this week after upsetting St. Pauls Episcopal last week. They held Alabama commit, AJ McCarron, without a rushing or passing touchdown. SF is 3-0 for the first time ever. A lot of talent at LB.
